Act III: The glow of the fire is seen through the windows of the house.
With only a small budget I created an interior/exterior set designed to evoke a Chekhovian feel. The nature of this venue (audience on 3 sides) meant that any 3D structures have to be as close to the back wall as possible. The frames could be read as garden trellis seats or casement wndows in the house which reveal no view beyond its microcosm.
