Act
III: The glow of the fire is seen through the windows of the house.
With
only a small budget I created an interior/exterior set designed
to evoke a Chekhovian feel. The nature of this venue (audience on
3 sides) meant that any 3D structures have to be as close to the
back wall as possible. The frames could be read as garden trellis
seats or casement wndows in the house which reveal no view beyond
its microcosm.
