I
have taught drama groups of various ages at The Questors Youth
Theatre in Ealing since March 1997 (shortly after leaving the
groups myself). Subsequently I became director of the Youth Theatre.
I have gone on to teach both drama and design based guest sessions
in many other schools and colleges. I
am also a part time lecturer at Kingston College on the BTEC National
Performing Arts Production course.

In 2003/04 I was contracted to write a series of articles on how
to set up and run your own drama group in Out Of School, the suppliment
of Nursery World magazines.

have both standard and enhanced CRB Police check certificates.

The
Questors Youth Theatre
I
coordinate one of the largest non-agency youth theatres in London,
comprising 25 groups totaling some 450 young people attending
weekly classes. We also run a full-scale annual production and
a summer showcase.
In addition to the regular classes, we offer a range of specialised
projects and events which have included stage fighting, physical
theatre, scenic painting, film and video, costume and musical
theatre, not to mention our site-specific projects.

Design
Teaching
I
am a part time lecturer at Kingston College on the BTEC National
Performing Arts Production course. Units which I teach include,
theatre design, model making, period prop making, scenic art and
design. I have also taught stand alone sessions on the role of
a theatre designer for groups ranging from A Level to degree level
students.
