This play was the fourth and final play in the 2006 Summer Rep Season at the Lyceum Theatre, Crewe. I had to produce four different sets in four weeks, with a day-and-a-half turn around between each show.

The show was set in a Spanish Villa and re used nearly all the elements built for the previous three shows. The white arches (already employed in week two for Gym and Tonic) reappeared surmounted by the wooden beams of a pitched roof, the serving hatch used in The Opposite Sex was remodelled to become a wall safe, even the trellis work from the second show came in useful giving depth to the garden. It was quite a challenge producing four sets in four weeks. My approach was not to treat them as wholly individual plays but to design them almost as if they were different acts of one vast play.
